As long as large-scale applications are formed, the cost of sodium batteries will also have certain advantages over lithium iron phosphate batteries. Wu Kai, chief scientist of CATL, once revealed at the World Youth Scientists Summit that CATL's second-generation sodium-ion battery can discharge normally in an extremely low temperature environment of minus 40 degrees Celsius, and is scheduled to be launched in 2025.
