TuSimple sues former executive for allegedly stealing trade secrets

TuSimple, Inc. and its parent company CreateAI Holdings Inc. recently filed a lawsuit against former CTO and CEO Xiaodi Hou and four other core executives, accusing them of stealing trade secrets, breach of contract, intentional interference with contractual relationships, abetting and inducing breach of contract, and seeking improper benefits for competitor Bot Auto. After being fired by the board of directors in October 2022, Hou Xiaodi, while still serving as a director of the company, began to contact and recruit key employees of TuSimple to prepare to form a new company, and officially established the website domain name of the new company Bot Auto in December 2022.
