Ambarella and Wind River jointly launch 5nm intelligent driving chip

Ambarella and Wind River released an intelligent driving platform based on the 5nm automotive chip CV3. The computing power of this platform has increased by 300%, while the power consumption is only 40W, and it supports L2++ high-level autonomous driving. It is compatible with 12 sensors, can perform 8K ultra-clear image processing, and can respond to complex road conditions at a speed of 50 milliseconds, solving the problem of intelligent fuel vehicles. Wind River also customized an ASIL-D-level software stack, shortening the development cycle by 30%. Their previous generation solution has been mass-produced, and the new platform has also received orders from three European automakers.
