Infiniti will continue to be produced in Mexico, but Infiniti models produced at the Aguascalientes plant (known as COMPAS) will not be exported to the U.S. COMPAS is part of a partnership between Nissan and Mercedes-Benz, which reached an agreement in 2012 to jointly produce models for both luxury brands with an annual capacity of 150,000 units. COMPAS will continue to produce QX50 and QX55 models at a rate of 500 units per month, with shipments to the U.S. suspended, but will continue to be exported to other markets such as the Dominican Republic, Panama, the Middle East and Canada.
