Vietnam's auto market sales to grow 16.6% in March 2025

In March 2025, Vietnam's automobile market sales reached 46,918 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 16.6%. Cumulative sales in the first quarter increased by 22.6% to 114,313 units. Local brand VinFast topped the list with sales of 9,800 units and a market share of 20.9%. Japanese and Korean brands such as Toyota, Hyundai and Mitsubishi performed strongly, while Chinese brands have yet to form a significant influence in the Vietnamese market.
