CATL launches sodium-ion battery brand "NaXin"

CATL released a new sodium-ion battery brand "NaXin" on April 21. The energy density of this battery reached 175Wh/kg, becoming the highest level in mass production in the industry. It is expected that the NaXin 24V heavy-duty truck start-stop integrated battery and the NaXin passenger car power battery will be mass-produced in June and December 2025, respectively. This battery has the characteristics of high energy density, long endurance, low temperature resistance and high safety.
