BMW Group's electric vehicle sales surge

In the first quarter of 2025, the BMW Group delivered a total of approximately 586,000 vehicles worldwide, a slight decrease compared to the same period last year. However, sales of electric vehicles (including pure electric vehicles BEV and plug-in hybrid vehicles PHEV) reached 157,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 28.5%, becoming the biggest highlight of the group's sales. The MINI brand's global sales in the first quarter of 2025 reached 64,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%. Among them, pure electric models accounted for 35.3% of total sales, setting a record high.
