On April 23, Pony.ai released its seventh-generation Robotaxi family at the Shanghai Auto Show, including the BAIC New Energy Alpha T5, GAC Aion Tyrannosaurus, and Toyota Platinum 4X. These models are equipped with four high-performance solid-state blind spot-filling LiDAR E1s from RoboSense, and have L4 full-scenario unmanned driving capabilities. Pony.ai said that these models will be put into operation in the second half of 2025, marking a major step forward in the field of autonomous driving.
