On April 25, Stellantis announced that it had collaborated with US battery company Factorial Energy to verify a car-sized solid-state battery called FEST. This battery has an energy density of up to 375Wh/kg, a battery capacity of 77Ah, a life cycle of more than 600 times, and supports an operating temperature range of -30°C to +45°C. At room temperature, it can be charged from 15% to more than 90% in 18 minutes and supports 4C high-power discharge. Stellantis plans to integrate Factorial's solid-state batteries into a demonstration fleet in 2026 to further verify and evaluate its battery technology.
