Brazil launches anti-circumvention investigation on Chinese automotive glass

The Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil issued Announcement No. 27 of 2025, in response to an application submitted by the Brazilian Automatic Glass Industry Technical Association (ABIVIDR0) on October 23, 2024, initiating an anti-circumvention investigation on Chinese automotive glass to examine whether windshields originating in China are exported to Brazil via Malaysia to circumvent current anti-dumping measures.
