SK On becomes Slate electric car battery supplier

SK On has been selected as the battery supplier for US electric vehicle startup Slate, and will supply it with 20GWh of batteries from 2026 to 2031. Slate plans to launch its first electric pickup truck next year, priced under $20,000.
