Volkswagen CSP platform: multi-power compatibility, support for L3 autonomous driving

Volkswagen Group recently announced that it is developing a new electrification platform called CSP (China Scalable Platform), which is designed specifically for the Chinese market. It uses highly localized technology and modular design, and can cover a variety of power forms (BEV, PHEV, EREV) and mainstream market segments (A-class to B-class models). The core goals of the CSP platform include shortening the development cycle, reducing costs, achieving multi-power compatibility and supporting L3 autonomous driving.
