STMicroelectronics Completes Acquisition of Deeplite

STMicroelectronics (ST) recently announced the completion of its acquisition of Canadian artificial intelligence startup Deeplite. Deeplite's AI software simplifies the operation of AI applications on devices such as mobile phones and robots. The acquisition will enable STMicroelectronics to combine Deeplite's software with its own MCUs and NPUs to provide a leading edge AI platform. Deeplite will continue to operate as a subsidiary of STMicroelectronics and is committed to developing advanced edge AI solutions.
