Volvo to move production of some EX30 models from China to Ghent, Belgium

Volvo decided to transfer the production of some EX30 models from China to the Ghent plant in Belgium, and had to spend 200 million euros to fully transform the factory facilities. This transformation project involves many aspects, including the use of a new production platform, the addition of nearly 600 new or refurbished robots, the expansion of the battery workshop, the construction of a new door production line and a battery pack assembly line.
