LG Energy Solution to expand energy storage manufacturing in the U.S.

LG Energy Solution plans to build a new energy storage battery production line in Holland, Michigan. The first production line is expected to start production in 2025, with an estimated production capacity of 16.5GWh. By early 2026, the company's energy storage battery production line capacity is expected to increase by another 11GWh. LG has pledged to invest $1.4 billion in its production plan in Michigan.
