U.S. confirms tariff-free auto parts for Canada and Mexico

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed on May 1 local time that auto parts manufactured in Canada and Mexico that are part of the United States-Canada-Mexico Agreement (USMCA) will be exempt from the 25% tariff that will take effect on May 3.
