LG Energy Solution to invest an additional $1.7 billion in Indonesian battery plant

LG Energy Solution recently announced that it will invest an additional $1.7 billion in a battery factory in West Java, bringing the total investment to $2.8 billion. The factory is a joint venture between LG and Hyundai and is expected to start production in July with an annual production capacity of 10GWh.
