Lenovo releases a new tablet, suspected to be equipped with a self-developed 5nm processor

Lenovo released the YOGA Pad Pro 14.5 AI Yuanqi Edition tablet on May 8, 2025, with a starting price of 4,999 yuan. According to reports, the tablet may be equipped with Lenovo's self-developed 5nm processor. Lenovo said in 2021 that it did not rule out the possibility of self-developed chips, and in 2022 established a wholly-owned subsidiary Dingdao Zhixin, focusing on chip research and development.
