Aurora Innovation plans to start dispatching self-driving trucks at night and in adverse weather conditions such as rain and strong winds in the second half of 2025. Currently, Aurora's driverless trucks only operate during the day and have traveled a total of about 4,000 miles. Aurora Innovation plans to open a driverless truck operation route from Fort Worth, Texas to El Paso, and to Phoenix along Interstate 10 by the end of this year.
