Toyota faces trade turmoil, profit drops sharply

Toyota, the world's largest automaker, is expected to see a $1.2 billion profit loss in two months due to trade policy. According to Japan's chief trade negotiator, Ryosuke Akasawa, a Japanese automaker is losing nearly $1 million per hour due to tariffs, a scale that is almost identical to Toyota's estimated $1.2 billion loss.
