GM and LG Energy team up to mass-produce lithium-rich manganese-based batteries in 2028

General Motors and LG Energy Solutions jointly released "lithium-rich manganese-based" battery technology, which is expected to improve the endurance of electric vehicles and reduce costs. Mass production is expected in 2028.
