Türkiye's light vehicle market sales hit record high in April 2025

In April 2025, the sales volume of Turkey's light vehicle market exceeded 100,000 units for the first time, reaching 105,352 units, a year-on-year increase of 38.8%. Among them, Renault topped the list with 9,702 units, a year-on-year increase of 42.8%. Brands such as Fiat, Ford, and Volkswagen also achieved varying degrees of growth. Toyota's performance was particularly impressive with an astonishing increase of 183.8%. BYD's performance was the most dazzling, rushing to the ninth place in the brand list with 5,397 units and a market share of 5.1%, a year-on-year surge of 1629.8%. In contrast, although Chery still ranked second among Chinese brands with a monthly sales of 3,010 units, its year-on-year decline was 43.4%.
