NIO's failure to equip all models with AC slow charging ports has aroused concern

As a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, NIO does not have AC slow charging ports as standard in its product line, a design choice that has sparked discussion among some car owners. NIO Chairman Li Bin explained this, pointing out that in the early days, due to NIO's free battery swap service, most users did not have a strong demand for public AC charging piles, so AC slow charging ports were not equipped on the vehicles. However, as NIO adjusted its car purchase policy and cancelled the free battery swap service, new NIO models such as ET9, Ledao and Firefly have been equipped with AC charging ports.
