Li Auto layoffs controversy resurfaces, official denial

Recently, some media reported that Ideal Auto will carry out large-scale layoffs in mid-June, involving the Beijing area. However, Ideal Auto officials denied this. Previously, Ideal Auto had reported layoffs of more than 18%. In 2024, Ideal Auto's employee turnover rate reached 38.2%, mainly due to voluntary resignation and contract expiration. Despite rumors of layoffs, Ideal Auto delivered 33,939 new cars in April, a year-on-year increase of 31.6%.
