Rivian invests $120 million to build supplier park

American electric car manufacturer Rivian announced that it will invest $120 million to build a 1.2 million square foot supplier park next to its Normal, Illinois plant. The park is expected to be completed in 2026 and aims to optimize the supply chain and cost structure to double production capacity and accelerate mass production of the R2 model.
