The new car will adopt plug-in hybrid power and will no longer be a single model, but an independent electrification brand jointly created by Chery and Jaguar Land Rover. The new Freelander will be an independent brand, which does not belong to the four major luxury families of Jaguar Land Rover, and is also different from Chery's existing product line. It will target the gap in the mid-to-high-end market of new energy vehicles of 300,000 to 500,000 yuan.
