Volkswagen Group announces personnel changes

Volkswagen Group has announced that its senior executive Werner Tietz will take on the dual role of Head of Research and Development at Volkswagen Group and continue to serve as a member of the Executive Board for Research and Development at Volkswagen Group's Seat subsidiary from July 1, 2025. Werner Tietz will succeed Michael Steiner, who will continue to serve as a member of the Executive Board for Research and Development at Porsche and will also serve as Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche. Both executives will perform their duties in a dual capacity.
