India's automotive market continues to grow

In April 2025, the wholesale volume of the Indian automobile market reached 353,400 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%, breaking the record for the same period for three consecutive years. Among them, Mahindra surpassed Tata Motors for the first time with a year-on-year increase of 27.6%, ranking second in monthly sales. Skoda, with its new Kylaq model, increased by 183.1% year-on-year, and its market share rose to 2.1%. MG and Toyota also achieved growth of more than 30%.
