Southeast Asia's auto sales fell slightly in the first quarter, while Vietnam grew against the trend

In the first quarter of this year, automobile groups in Southeast Asia's five largest automobile markets (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam) sold a total of 732,898 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 1.7%; among them, Vietnam's automobile sales increased by 24% year-on-year, the growth rate was higher than other automobile markets in Southeast Asia, mainly due to its good domestic economic situation.
