Tesla plans to launch self-driving taxi service in Austin

Tesla plans to launch a self-driving taxi service in Austin in June, initially providing 10-20 Model Ys, and then gradually expanding to cover more cities. Compared with Tesla's FSD (full self-driving) models, Tesla's self-driving taxi fleet is equipped with "a large number of remote safety officers." Tesla employees will remotely monitor and operate the vehicles in real time to ensure that the self-driving fleet "never rolls over."
