Infineon and Rivian join hands to develop SiC modules for R2 platform

Infineon Technologies announced that it will provide power module solutions for Rivian's new generation electric vehicle platform R2, including the HybridPACK™ Drive G2 series, which is expected to be available from 2026. Infineon will also provide key components such as the AURIX™ TC3x series microcontrollers and power management ICs. Rivian's R2 platform carries the expectations of vehicle iteration and is also a turnaround battle for survival.
