Mitsubishi Motors drops investment in Renault's electric car business

Mitsubishi Motors announced that it will no longer invest in Renault's electric vehicle business Ampere due to the adjustment of its electric vehicle strategy. Despite this, Mitsubishi still plans to explore other cooperation opportunities with Renault and Ampere, such as OEM vehicle development. Renault said that Ampere has sufficient cash flow to support its development without external financing.
