Honda announces reduction in electric vehicle investment and focuses on hybrid models

On May 20, Honda announced that it would adjust its electric vehicle strategy, originally planning to invest 10 trillion yen in pure electric vehicles and software development by 2030, but now it has been reduced to 7 trillion yen. Honda will launch 13 new-generation hybrid vehicles globally in the four years starting in 2027.
