Indonesia's light vehicle wholesale sales increased 5.3% year-on-year

In April 2025, Indonesia's light vehicle wholesale sales recorded a year-on-year growth of 5.3% to 51,205 units, with cumulative sales in the first four months reaching 256,368 units, down 2.8% year-on-year, and the retail market continued to be under pressure. BYD performed amazingly, breaking into the top five for the first time with 3,496 wholesales, and its market share jumped to 6.8%, setting a new record for the brand in the Indonesian market.
