MediaTek's 2nm chip is coming soon

MediaTek announced that its first 2nm chip will be taped out in September this year, with a 15% performance improvement and 25% energy consumption reduction over the 3nm chip. The chip will use TSMC's advanced process technology. MediaTek will release the Dimensity 9500 chip using TSMC's 3nm process in September this year, and next year's Dimensity 9600 will be upgraded to TSMC's 2nm process, becoming MediaTek's first 2nm chip.
