BorgWarner wins North American automaker's electric motor business

BorgWarner has signed a contract with a North American automaker to supply its 400V SW130 (S-winding) motors for a range of hybrid full-size trucks and SUVs. The contract will further expand the global market influence of BorgWarner's high-voltage, low-power S-winding motor technology, with mass production expected to begin in the second quarter of 2028.
