Malaysia denies involvement in Huawei's AI project

Malaysia's trade ministry issued a statement denying that the government was involved in or supported an artificial intelligence project involving local companies and Huawei technology. Earlier reports said Malaysian companies would deploy Huawei chips. The ministry stressed that the project was not formulated or endorsed by the government.
