Scania acquires Northvolt heavy industry battery unit

Scania has agreed to acquire Northvolt's heavy industry battery division, including production capabilities, a research and development center and a team of about 260 employees. However, Scania has no intention of acquiring Northvolt's flagship factory from the bankrupt assets.
