ADI Releases Second Quarter Financial Results for Fiscal Year 2025, with Results Exceeding Expectations

US chipmaker Analog Devices (ADI) announced its second quarter financial report for fiscal year 2025, with revenue reaching $2.64 billion, up 22% year-on-year, exceeding analysts' expectations of $2.51 billion. Net profit was $570 million. All four divisions of ADI achieved double-digit revenue growth. Among them, industrial application revenue, which accounted for the largest proportion, increased by 17% to $1.16 billion; automotive chip sales increased by 24% to $850 million; the consumer electronics business benefited from the advance stocking of personal computers and mobile devices, with sales increasing by 30%; the communications business performed the best, up 32% year-on-year. It is predicted that its revenue in the third quarter of fiscal year 2025 will reach $2.65 billion to $2.85 billion.
