New energy passenger car manufacturers exported 189,000 units in April

According to the China Passenger Car Association, in April, new energy passenger car manufacturers exported 189,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 44.2% and a month-on-month increase of 31.6%. From January to April, the cumulative export volume reached 590,000 vehicles, an increase of 26.7%. In April, the retail penetration rate of new energy vehicles in the overall domestic passenger car market reached 51.5%, an increase of 7 percentage points from the same period last year.
