BYD releases solid-state battery technology to lead the new energy vehicle market

On May 24, 2025, BYD announced that its independently developed solid-state battery technology will be used for the first time in the SEAL EV model. This technology redefines the performance boundaries of electric vehicles with its disruptive data of "12 minutes of charging and 1,500 kilometers of driving range".
