Mercedes-Benz to establish North American headquarters and new R&D facility in Atlanta

Mercedes-Benz announced that it will make Atlanta the North American headquarters of Mercedes-Benz by centralizing and integrating key functions of the company. At the same time, the company will transfer up to 500 jobs to the existing Mercedes-Benz plant in Fulton County, Georgia, and invest millions of dollars to build an advanced future research and development facility in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
