Chevrolet's ill-fated Chinese market

Chevrolet's sales in the Chinese market continue to be sluggish, with annual sales of only 52,700 units in 2024, a year-on-year decrease of more than 70%. The prices of main models such as Malibu XL and Cruze have dropped significantly, but it is still difficult to reverse the downward trend. The inventory in the Chevrolet factory has been cleared, all new projects have been postponed indefinitely, and the existing models in production are about to enter the EOP stage.
