On May 28, the first phase of the YOFC Advanced Wuhan Base successfully achieved mass production, and the first 6-inch silicon carbide wafer rolled off the production line on the same day. The total investment in the first phase of the YOFC Advanced Wuhan Base is expected to exceed 20 billion yuan, of which the total investment in the first phase of the project is 8 billion yuan, with an annual production capacity of 360,000 6-inch silicon carbide wafers. Since the groundbreaking on September 1, 2023, the construction of the YOFC Advanced Wuhan Base project has been steadily advancing.
