Toyota Motor Corp. said Thursday that global production and sales rose for the fourth straight month in April, led by strong demand for hybrid vehicles and a rush to buy in the U.S. due to President Donald Trump's import tariffs. Global sales rose 10% in April from a year earlier to 876,864 vehicles, with U.S. sales also rising. In the first four months of the year, hybrid vehicle sales accounted for 44% of global sales.
