Foxconn announces cooperation with second Japanese automaker

Foxconn Chairman Liu Yangwei announced at the shareholders' meeting that the company will soon establish a partnership with a second Japanese automaker to further expand its electric vehicle business. Previously, Foxconn had signed a memorandum of cooperation with Mitsubishi Motors to supply an electric vehicle model. Foxconn's Chief Strategy Officer for Electric Vehicles, Jun Guan, emphasized that Japanese partners are of great significance to Foxconn's development of its electric vehicle business.
