May Mobility and Itochu jointly promote driverless cars

May Mobility, an American autonomous driving company, has reached a cooperation with Itochu of Japan, and will use its subsidiary BELLSYSTEM's 40 years of customer service experience to deploy driverless cars on a large scale. May's unique "light intervention" remote assistance system allows a single operator to monitor multiple vehicles simultaneously, reducing costs by 50% compared to traditional remote control. It is reported that Itochu has invested 1 billion yen in May Mobility.
