Changxin Storage will stop producing DDR4 memory

Changxin Memory Technology Co., Ltd. (CXMT) plans to stop producing DDR4 memory in the middle of next year and focus on high value-added products such as high-bandwidth memory (HBM) and DDR5. This decision is based on future market forecasts and considerations to avoid repeating the mistakes of older products. Changxin Memory plans to convert more than 60% of its total production to DDR5 by the end of this year, and the rest will focus on producing low-power products.
