BYD ranks third in the Turkish market

BYD ranked second in the Turkish imported car market with sales of 5,036 vehicles in May, and sales in January-May 2025 reached 18,644 vehicles. Chinese brand Chery (Chery + OMODA) sold 2,907 vehicles, and Jaecoo, another sub-brand of Chery, sold 601 vehicles. Togg, a local Turkish electric car manufacturer, sold 3,678 vehicles. From January to May this year, a total of 394,327 vehicles were sold in the Turkish car market. Domestic car sales were 120,903 units, and imported car sales were 273,424 units. Volkswagen (Volkswagen brand only) ranked first with sales of 27,916 units, Peugeot ranked second with sales of 24,802 units, and BYD ranked third with sales of 18,644 units.
