Microsoft lays off hundreds of employees again

Microsoft Corp. has cut hundreds of jobs just weeks after its biggest layoffs in years, highlighting how the tech industry is struggling to cut costs even as it invests billions of dollars in artificial intelligence. More than 300 employees were notified of their layoffs on June 2, according to a Washington state notice. A Microsoft spokesperson said the layoffs follow the 6,000 layoffs announced last month.
